In the entrance of Karavas we will find the “Bakery Karavas ‘maintained by the Georgia Koronaiou and …” Mr Smile’ and their family … The building functioned as a mill from 1932 and for 32 years. Today it has become a bakery museum, preserving in perfect condition the old machines. Here you will find traditional rusks, certified in food safety management system ISO 22000! Also other kinds of nuts, homemade cookies, rozedes, almond, ladopsomo, gingerbread, kytherian cookies with cinnamon and sugar and travel back in time! They will be very happy to give you a tour and explain you how they are making the traditional and very popular Kytherian rusks.
