Hidden in the midst of the small, quiet settlement, lies our favorite little “project”. Villa Katouni is the perfect choice for couples travelling as a group, or families that are seeking for a fully equipped, independent house.

A farmer’s house over many generations, dating back to the mid-19th century, perched on the side of the hill, overlooking the meadows of Livadi, the surrounding rolling hills and the stone-built bridge of Katouni.

The total surface of Casa Cisterna is 100 m2 and it consists of 3 bedrooms, a modern living room and kitchen area , 2 bathroom areas and a spacious veranda with magnificent view.

It’s built on the natural incline of the hill, carved on the rock and built little by little over the decades, its yard and rooms sitting on four different levels.

This was the grandparents’ house for decades, full of memories from summer holidays, idle, hot afternoons immersed in the song of the cicadas and long evenings of endless play in the yard and surrounding alleys. Now it’s our turn to take care of it and add a bit of our own imprint on its long history.

We’d like to invite you to become a part of that history and share in our experience of the place.

Sit on the cistern terrace as evening falls and let your eyes rest on the low lying fields and the ridges of the surrounding hills, silhouetted in the dusk.

Breathe in the cool breeze as it passes through the alley and hear the tree leaves shiver against it.

Hidden somewhere in the dry-stone wall, the cricket begins its night song; close your eyes and surrender to an experience so timeless in its simplicity and, at the same time, so absolutely priceless.
